This installation is an interactive artwork that visually and somatically presents the vital pulse of a fragmented heart and vascular system. The interaction is initiated by the participant's physical touch and grip on a cast silicone hand, which activates the internal peristaltic pump and simulates a forceful, rhythmic blood flow. The core concept is that a machine-like life form still requires external, biological contact to assert its existence and vitality.
